Fund Selector is a bespoke fund-research implementation built with Monarch Wealth. Use this brief to prepare a discussion about your firm’s process, not as a specification for a packaged product.
What the Monarch implementation shows
Rule-based fund matching and AI-assisted explanation can be combined within a firm-specific workflow. As of 9 September 2026, Monarch’s implementation is in user testing, reached in under four months, with a planned rollout audience of 300 users. These milestones do not establish active adoption or measured ROI.

Questions for your team
| Area | What to bring or resolve |
|---|---|
| Business owner | Which research or review task are you trying to improve? What baseline would show a useful change? |
| Product universe | What is the approved fund universe? Which data sources and licences can be used? |
| Rules | Which eligibility criteria are explicit, and who maintains them? |
| Review | Who checks explanations and source facts? What requires escalation? |
| Technology | Which identity, integration, language, hosting, and access requirements apply? |
| Records | What context must be retained, who may see it, and for how long? |
| Commercial terms | What is reusable, configurable, or new development? Agree IP, licences, costs, support, and exit separately. |
Keep the decision boundary clear
Matching rules and generated language are separate. A generated rationale requires review; it does not replace firm-level product diligence or client-specific suitability decisions.
A useful demonstration
Ask to see the task from input to review, including the sources, matching criteria, and an exception or missing-information case. Confirm which features are available in the demonstrated build and which would require development for your firm.
